G-Epitech R-Type is composed of two main components: the client and the server.

Client

The game client is responsible for rendering the game and handling user input. Is the part of the game that you will interact with. You must at least download the client to play the game.

Server

The server is the component that manages the game state and handles network communication. You will need the server if you want to host a game session.
